Mow St. Augustine Between 2.5"-3" Tall
St. Augustine grass prefers to be mowed between 2.5"-3" tall. Mowing any shorter could expose the roots and cause them to dry out.

Indoor Pest Control

Once-A-Year Indoor Pest Control program is designed to get you the best results possible, while being the least intrusive to your daily life. This is done with a three-step approach.

Initial Treatment

We start off by scheduling a time that is convenient for you to be home, so that we can inspect and treat the inside of your house. During this initial treatment, we apply gel bait in all of your cabinets, and in your pantry. This bait is applied in places where it cannot come into contact with food, so there are no health risks associated with it.

We also take off all your switch plates around light switches and electrical outlets to apply a Boric Acid powder in your walls. This power remains in the walls and will kill insects that come in contact with it. Once the switch plates are re-installed, there is no way for children or pets to come in contact with it.

The final thing we do inside is spray all entry points to your house. This includes window frames, door jams, gaps around dryer vents, etc. This is done to help prevent insects from getting into your house. A dead bug inside is good, but a dead bug at the door is even better.

Once done with the inside of your house, our technician will begin treating the outside. At this time, he will spray a liquid insecticide around the base of your house, around all windows, doors, any entry points, and under the eves of your roof. Once finished, he will apply granular bait to all shrub, flower, or mulch beds around the house.

Booster Treatment #1

Approximately 4 months after your initial treatment, we will come back to your house and do an outside perimeter treatment and inspection. Our technician will once again be spraying the base of your house, around all windows, doors, any entry points, and under the eves of your roof. Once finished, he will apply granular bait to all shrub, flower, or mulch beds around the house.

Booster Treatment #2

Approximately 8 months after your initial treatment, we will come back to your house and do an outside perimeter treatment and inspection again. Our technician will once again be spraying the base of your house, around all windows, doors, any entry points, and under the eves of your roof. Once finished, he will apply granular bait to all shrub, flower, or mulch beds around the house.

Because the bait and the liquid chemical we apply outside your house is subjected to the weather, it has a tendency to break down a lot faster than the chemicals we put inside your house. The Booster Treatments allow us to not only put down fresh chemicals, but they also give us an opportunity to inspect the outside of your home. By doing so, our technicians are able to check for any changes to the outer perimeter of your home and can take a proactive approach towards anything they find out of the ordinary.
